A mission to share the love and hope of Christ in broken places through service, partnership, and transformation.
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” — Matthew 25:31-46 ESV
AGORA Ministries exists to share the love and hope of Christ in broken places. We accomplish this by encouraging, empowering, educating, and mentoring at-risk students and families. Through partnerships with churches, non-profits, and businesses, we work to bring restoration and transformation to those we serve.
As a training ministry, we are also called to equip and train others to carry out this mission, multiplying our impact as we reach more communities.
At AGORA Ministries, we are called to advance the mission of the Church by stepping beyond its walls into communities of great need. As a para-church ministry, we advance from the edges, establishing new works, making disciples, equipping workers for the harvest, and raising up leaders in places the Church may not yet be positioned to reach. Guided by a God-given vision and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we serve as laborers in God’s harvest fields, bringing the hope, transformation, and love of Christ to broken places desperate for His presence.
Serving others with humility, placing Christlike love and obedience above position or recognition.
Pursuing the highest standard in all we do as an act of worship and a reflection of God’s glory.
Meeting people where they are and engaging real needs with practical expressions of God’s love.
Walking forward in bold faith, trusting God’s leading, timing, and provision.
Building genuine, Christ-centered relationships marked by compassion, honesty, and care.
Keeping Jesus at the core of everything we do, shaping our purpose, decisions, and direction.
Pursuing lasting change in lives and communities through the power of the Gospel.
AGORA Ministries has been entrusted with a clear vision to influence high-need areas for the Kingdom of God. Our mission is twofold: to serve as missionaries and operate our core ministries, and to empower local churches to fulfill their God-given missions.
Operating core ministries in broken places.
Supporting local pastors with resources and partnership.
Building Kingdom impact through collaboration.
In low-income communities, where pastors often serve bi-vocationally with limited resources, we come alongside these leaders to provide organizational, logistical, physical, and human support. Through partnerships, we offer ministry space, host Vacation Bible Schools, assist with facility improvements, and occasionally provide financial resources.
Nurturing young hearts with hope.
Guiding youth through critical years.
Meeting physical needs with dignity.
Walking alongside for transformation.
Empowering through learning.
Building spaces for ministry.
Supporting and strengthening women.
Serving the most vulnerable.
Taking the Gospel to the streets.
Mobilizing volunteers for impact.
Preparing the next generation.
The church equips the saints for the work of ministry.
Para-church helps the church do what it is called to do, in places it may not be positioned to go.
The Church disciples from the center. AGORA advances from the edges. Both are essential.
If we ever replace the local church, we’ve failed. If we lose our outward focus and become inwardly comfortable, we’ve failed. The Church disciples from the center. AGORA advances from the edges. Both are essential.
Shepherding and discipling a gathered body of believers.
Advancing to places where disciples are not yet formed.
Together, we build Kingdom transformation.
Through strategic partnerships with churches, non-profits, and businesses, we multiply our impact and extend our reach into communities of great need.
The word derives from the Latin term “missio,” meaning “a sending” or “dispatching.” In the Christian sense, a missionary is someone sent to share the message of the Gospel, embodying the call to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
Churches are funded by members who donate. Missionaries are usually funded by non-members who donate. The members of the missionary work cannot fund the mission. Jesus was a missionary who traveled without a specific congregation supporting Him (Luke 8:1–3).
We are called to go where the Church may not yet be positioned to reach, bringing the transforming love of Christ to broken places.
Jesus did not build a gathered church during His earthly ministry. He formed disciples and lived as a sent one. He loved the Church, established the Church through the cross and resurrection, and now leads the Church as its head, but He modeled a missionary life.
Paul pushed the Gospel to the edges. James established the Church at the center. God used both to build His Kingdom.
